What is SearchWise...

SearchWise offers dedicated service to employment seekers in Victoria BC who need access to affordable, personalized employment counselling, resume services or career counselling.

Many employment seekers in Victoria BC are not eligible for free employment services and yet cannot afford the fees of private employment agencies. It is my mandate to offer you good value for your dollar and to refer you to other beneficial community and employment resources wherever appropriate.

As an experienced employment counsellor, my goal is to provide you with the personal support and direction you need in your job search. Helping you to find rewarding employment is what I strive for.

Marilyn Henigman, BSW, MPA, Career Counsellor (2004) is the proprietor of SearchWise. She has been working as an employment counsellor in Victoria BC since 1998, primarily as a work search and job placement coordinator. Her passion is in assisting people to find rewarding employment. She is also a source of information about employment opportunities and employment resources in Victoria BC. She also teaches "Career Options" at Camosun College and has developed expertise in working with the mature (45+) job seeker.
